Maurice Clarett runs a 4.72 forty at combine..

Clarett first ran a 4.82, and then a 4.72 at the combine today. So much for being in a lot better shape, he might not even get drafter now.

Ronnie Brown wieghed in at 233 pounds an ran a 4.4 flat, then a 4.3 something. WOW.

D'andre Cobb ran a 4.38. SOme 250 pound guy from the citadel ran a 4.5.

I know we probably aren't looking at any of these guys but it's cool to have some numbers to finally talk about :)

there's no link yet, I was watching on the NFL network.

People said the same thing about Sammie Smith years ago.

I have said it ever since Clarett stopped playing for OSU, that he is not fast enough, and isn't mentally stable enough to play in the NFL.

I thought Ronnie Brown was the best back in the draft, that helps my decision even more. Especially when Benson isn't working out at the combine.

Mike Williams is going to hold a private workout, one reason could be the claim that it's a slower turf at Indy.

I kind of hope Clarett's time scares teams off so we can "waste" a 7th Round pick on him. I think he would be a lot better gamble than a linebacker from Slippery Rock.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Yeah, Mike Williams chose not to work out..I think that was bad move, he's been out of football for a year. he needs to take the "I'll run any time, anywhere" attitude. He did say he is going to run a sub-4.5 forty...I am skeptical about that but we will see.

How about an OG from Mansfield U? I'd love to see my buddy Chris Farris get a shot. Great kid and plays MEAN.

(And he runs a 40 about as fast as Clarett!)
Someone said "What's he gonna turn out like?" Ha!
