You can talk extension with Clements till you're blue in the face. he knows what top CB's are making and I doubt he is going to rush into any contract extension that doesn't pay him big time.

Bottom line is we can not offer him the contract he is going to look for this year.

as for our UFA's next year

DT Bannan, CB Clements, DE Denney, DT Edwards, WR Haddad, RB Henry, S Prioleau, WR Reed, FB Shelton, OL Teague, and S Wire
No worries here. After Clements everyone on this list is signable or replaceable.

Without DB's cap hit we should be OK. I will assume that MW's will get a extension/restrucutre if he shows up into camp in shape and on time. If MW pulls a "Where's Waldo" then I will bet we cut ties with him next year.

Moulds will restrucuture again, but he is going ot have to start reducing his base salary if he does truly want to stay a Bill.

Thanks for all the info. I'm working on my "where will we be next year" page based off of clumps work and the NFLPA.org site.

I'm hoping to see plenty of room to work with next year, I'll let ya know hwat I find out if CLump hasn;t already done this.

what is the status of WR F. Smith, G Sobieski, S Baker, DT Sape?? are they EFA after 2006? Smith, Sobieski and Sape were all drafted, cut and resigned to the practice squad.

Haddad was not tendered. He re-signed a month ago at $455,000 and will be a UFA after 2005 season

F. Smith will be EFA after 2005

Both Sobieski and Sape are signed thru 2006 season
