Why has One Bills Drive been so quiet?

Usually by now, we hear something about our restricted free agents, and the latest offers to our UFAs. Something must be going on at One Bills Drive, because it's been much quieter than normal. I think something is brewing. TD is probably talking to some of the cap cuts right now and maybe is working on a couple different trades. Either way, it just doesn't feel right. is it just me or does anyone else feel this way?

Maybe they are getting their office space renovated.

I dont have a very good feeling..... I dont know why, but I am very uneasy right now.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
      It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

The henry trade is really up to TH....
What do they want to talk about?

          Me too. I'm very

But I can't wait until football stuff happens over the next week or so. Then it will get exciting. Free Agency is always a good time.

Don't fret fellas! There's no way they can bring back Drew now so no need to be nervous!

Shane Matthews? Marcus Price? They are both UFAs. What about the RFAs? Don't we usually hear about the tenders by now? There are some good names on that list too....

RFA: CB Kevin Thomas, G Mike Pucillo, and RB Joe Burns
EFA: RB Dante Brown, LB Josh Stamer, LS Jon Dorenbos

I'd like to see Kevin Thomas get tendered, Josh Stamer should definitely get re-signed. I'm surprised they didn't already work something out. And then Jon Dorenbos is our LS. Moorman is comfortable with him, should be re-signed.

It's so quiet because TD is holed up in his little office trying to find a way to make up for the whole Drew Bledsoe signing. Cutting him only starts the healing process.

I hear Pucillo is demanding a $20 million signing bonus.

I was gonna say that the front office is probably just basking in the glow of the Bledsoe release...I know I am....but they better wake up soon or we might miss the good free agent linemen!

One Bills Drive is so quiet because they are not going to be much of a player this offseason. I hope I'm wrong, and it's sad to say, but that's my feeling.

They SHOULD be getting ready to pursue offensive linemen, a good backup veteran QB, a 3rd WR, a kicker, TE, backup RB, trade Henry, re-sign Pat Williams, etc., but we'll see how much "The Wizard" gets accomplished before we go into next season hedging all of our bets that J.P. Losman is going to be the next John Elway.

If TD isn't a player this offseason...Fire his ass. We have clear cut needs.
