    Let me ask this

Is there anyone who hasn't been cut recently that might be a good fit at our 3rd WR spot???? I was just thinking that Jason Peters could fill that role too.

Yeah seems like everyone off the pipe should come in and play. I like Patten thats about it. Brown will re-sign with the Pats and Terrell will make big money.... might even go to Minny.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Who would want to come in and be a 3rd WR - good for 30 catches and 350 yds?

Jason Peters is 2nd TE at best.

Reed can do 30 catches for 350 Easily. Aiken probably could too.

Jason Peters is whatever he wants to be.

I thought Jason Peters was going to be the backup QB.

He might even play a little DE while he is at it.

he's also the emergency punter and 5th string grounds crew.

Seriously, Josh Reed has underperformed but I haven't seen any other good options for 3rd receiver. If no opportunities come up, let him and Aiken fight it out. Also, bring in a good TE so we only use 3 WR sets on 3rd and long.

I think that Josh Reed is going to suprise you. He looked pretty good catching passes in camp from JP. Maybe the QB will make a difference.
