Van Pelt Intern Coach in NFL Europe

Good to see him, continue his career in football. I bet he'd make a great coach.

    Good luck AVP!

The NFL’s stars of the future – young players battling for World Bowl glory in NFL Europe in 2005 – will have the chance to learn from the league’s stars of the past as 12 former players will serve as season-long intern coaches for the six NFLEL teams this spring.

Pro Bowl and Super Bowl-winning defensive tackle DANA STUBBLEFIELD and quarterback ALEX VAN PELT, who served as quarterback for the Buffalo Bills from 1995-2003, will be training camp intern coaches

Good for Alex and good timing for him since not much to do professionally for him. I think he will do a good job.

If you end up coaching in the AFCE outside of Buffalo I will hunt you down though.

good god. you know you're down on the coaching ladder when you're an interim coach for training camp of an NLFE team...

            good luck though avp.

That's "intern" as in learning how to do it, not "interim" as in filling in until the regular guy gets back. AVP never had anything handed to him in professional football. He's patient and persistent. He'll be fine.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
