HDTV

Does anyone here have HDTV? I just got ESPN HD and have noticed that it won't fill the entire picture on my 46" widescreen TV. On either side of the picture it says ESPN HD or something to that effect. Is it always like this or is there something I can do to make the writing on either side go away?

Basically- they are showing you programming on the HDTV channel that isn't in HDTV.


When they do show you a game, or sportscenter, it will all fill in. Or you can mess with the settings to fill it all in, but I wouldn't bother

Hit the right side of your TV 4 times with your hand. It will straighten out.
