ESPN insider ranked all the free agents available- Travis Brown was 3 or 4 from the bottom with a grade of 58. Eric Flowers was 3 spots ahead of him. Must have been over 250 people on that list.

Why re-sign him, so he can get hurt, and the Bills can reach yet another "injury settlement" with him. He's completely useless, IMO.

Just a thought. They liked him enough to keep him before he got hurt.

People, People, is this what it's come down to? "Travis Brown" are you serious. Look I know that a lot of you are going nuts because we haven't made a move yet but come on. Something will get done soon trust me. I'm kinda glad that we aren't going crazy spending on players we don't really need or can't really afford. Look at the Patriots, they spend efficiently, that's what we should be doing. I truly trust MM and I think he has a lot of say as to goes on. As far as the O line Mcnally will get it done with whatever he has.

They had a veteran QB or two on the roster during his stint here. It's worth a flyer to commit long term development on a guy. But without AVP or Bledsoe, we need vets behind JP. There is no reason to develop a Brown

Travis showed last year he can be a decent backup, and he knows the system

                        Preseason, training camp...

I know he didnt show us that he'd be the next Peyton Manning, but would you rather have Brown as the backup or someone of the calibar as Kevin Thompson as the backup?

Actually, I don't think that's necessarily true. TB was a GW leftover. He does not know MM system and has very little experience with it. I don't think he would fit in well now. We do have a QB being developed in NFL Europe, don't we? Maybe he's being planned to be backup if Shane doesn't come through. I do wish Shane would make a decision soon so TD can make plans accordingly if he isn't coming back...

Another viable option at 3rd WR?
