Rumor has it here are the players that the Bills are going to attempt to pursue, and are Tom Donahoe's 'dream' players/'hot' list from this year's free agency/draft...

Kendall Gammon TE/long snapper from K.C.
Roland Williams TE/Oakland
Maurice Clarett FB/Ohio State (stay tuned???)
Jay Reimersma TE/Pitt -- we'll be set at TE
Travis Brown QB/Indy -- the veteran that we'll need to tutor Losman
Jamie Nails OG/Miami (is he even in the league right now?)
Jerry Rice WR/Seattle -- the 3rd wide receiver we need
Lomas Brown OT/NYG -- the bookend LT we need (only 41 years young)
Morten Andersen K/Minn -- turns 100 this year
Marcellus Wiley DE/Dallas -- the pass rusher we need
Keith Newman LB
Ainsley Battles S/Pitt
Chad Cota S/out of retirement
Billy Conaty C/Vikings -- bolster the line
Erik Flowers DE/Rams

So don't fret guys, and mark my words, he'll be making this moves VERY soon, so it'll be exciting!!!

Why don't we just sign every ex-Bill available?

Ok-

Who should we sign, and how much are you going to pay them? Which 3-4 starters do you want to cut / not resign in 2006 just to get under the cap?

Lots of whining without any answers out there.

It's addressed to the 50 other threads out there too. Let's complain about a freakin' long snapper visiting.

This is not a joke guys... my source is 100% legit...

He said the strategy is to not pursue any big name free agents ala New England and let the other teams overpay and get themselves into cap trouble. This is a list of guys available now. However, the real list and the real 'secret' strategy is to pickup whomever Pittsburgh decides not to re-sign or cuts that we can afford. The genius in this strategy is that the Pittsburgh 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team thoroughly kicked our tails the last game of the season, so any one of them we can sign will dramatically improve our roster and in turn get us over the hump and into the playoffs (barring another Pittsburgh game scheduled the last game of the season).

Look for a draft-day trade for St. Pierre or FA acquisition of Batch...

Here is a real list of some O-Linemen available:
Kareem McKenzie, Fred Miller, Victor Riley, Floyd Womack, Cosey Coleman, Jermaine Mayberry, Ben Hamilton, Rich Braham, Robbie Tobeck and Brock Gutierrez. There are some missing and there are some that are probably too old but these are some names.

This better be a joke. Otherwise, it's the worst post in the history of posting.

I think Stockar McDougle should be on that list too.

The list, while fictitious, certainly would have provided some veteran leadership - and a great market for Geritol, Depends, Dentu-Cream and Viagra.

That was some funny stuff. Some of the reactions are just as good.

You had me until Nails, and 41 years young Lomas.

When seeing Clarret on that list i thought, that would be like TD. I could "almost" see him taking him late. He'd get media attention for picking a guy he once panned, and have the 2 RBs from that Nat Champ game in the same backfield. Oh the drama!

I said almost. Please don't neg me.
