I've seen this posted in other threads before, the question I have is Lindell's contract? Didn't he sign for alot of money and what kind of cap hit do we take if we cut him? I'm not happy with him, but won't he cost us alot to cut him?

Money well spent if we cut him. Right now he is the backup kicker in my eyes. Starter is TBD. It's like girlfriends - you don't dump one until you have one already lined up to take her place.

Nugent has to be drafted before RL is sent to the chopping post.

Because we don't have a replacement.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Man, he's going to have a pretty good streak by September.

. . .And while he is barely adequate, in all my travels over all these years, I've never encountered a tree with a kicker growing on it.

Only way Lindel is not on our roster next year is if we draft Nugent in the 2nd round. People don't like spending a #2 on a kicker, but Nugent is special. He's the wind beneath my wings.

Barely adequate? I think that's giving him too much credit. The guy has no business being in the NFL. He can barely kick off to the 10, has limited range, and 0 clutch ability.

Lindell, if cut, will save the Bills money.

Why hasn't he been cut yet?

                              1. We don't need the money, YET.
                              2. We don't have a replacement, YET.
