    Henry

Anyone think that now that the Cards have signed McKenzie to play RT that a deal involving Shelton and Henry will get done?

I do, but I want a tad bit more, like a low round pick and shelton.

Ground your Jets Vilma, no way you're shooting this guy down.

I'd take Shelton for Henry straight up at this point. And we should sign Vincent, although Gandy was a good signing too.

I'd give Arizona a 6th or 7th rounder if it will get them to do the ****ing deal NOW.

I was over at a cardinals message board and a lot of them wanted the Henry-Shelton trade to happen as well. I wonder what the problem is. Maybe Green likes one of the RBs in the draft. Who knows?

I read that Green doesn't think Henry will fit into his offense that well, and would prefer to grab a RB in the draft. The RB depth in this year's draft makes it possible that he could name a decent starter in the 2nd/3rd/4th round instead of the 1st round.

Henry demanding a contract extension before any trade was another deal-breaker. The Cards wanted him to play out the current year instead of re-upping with him.

Any team trading any kind of value for Henry would want an extension as much as Henry would. Otherwise, they stand to lose him after one year. Fool contracts negotiated by Oakland to sign Lamont Jordan will make that extension much more difficult to negotiate.
