Approx every day or so, we'll post a new thread for the next pick. NO TRADING.

You may draft according to who you would take OR who you think they would take...whatever. Just please name only one player.

The Bears are on the clock with the fourth pick in the draft.

Draft results so far:

braylon...but hell, at this rate, we won't need to vote on the last few teams of the 1st round...we can actually use the players the teams actually chose bc the draft will have passed already. hurry it up.

1 a day is fine...that gives us penty of time.

I think they'll take edwards so that's who I'll vote for.

Any chance they take benson? I know they have thomas jones but they might see benson as an upgrade...

Cedric Benson. It's not a slam dunk however. Chicago has some running backs, but nothing of Benson's quality, and they want to run the ball this year.

The fans will crap their pants if they take Edwards. The Bears just got rid of another Michigan WR egomaniac, Terrell.

I'll go with Cadillac Williams

Edwards or Johnson (for some reason he reminds me of derrick brooks) Johnson and Urlacher would make a great LB core for a long time.

I dont like drafting a RB this high. RB's dont have a long lifespan in the league.

Chicago is weary with this pick but Edwards is their best option here...WR Braylon Edwards

Angelo is in the paper all the time here saying that the Bears need to keep the pick and draft a "playmaker". It wouldn't shock me if they took Mike Williams, but Edwards would be a tough sell with the bad taste of Terrell still in their mouths.

Williams wouldnt a year out of football? They dont need a RB imo, Jones is a decent back and they got a glaring need at WR

Jones has not proven to be durable, and the A Train is leaving. Their backup is Adrian Petersen (the old Penn Stater). Nothing special. I could see them going either way.

Hmmmm, my initial vote was for Braylon Edwards, but some people have brought up a good point about Terrell. Eh, screw it. Braylon Edwards, WR, Michigan.

Adrian Petersen is not from penn st he's from Ga Souther and was one of the most dominant backs to ever play college football. He could be good give a shot. I like AP alot.

I believe he holds the record for most rushing yards in NCAA history. He hasn't been able to do much in the NFL.

Even though I think Williams is better than Edwards, Chicago will take Braylon, IMO.

Correct but he also has been given a shot imo. He's not a speed back but a very powerful one, in a run v. Yougstown St. He broke 7 tackles, one where he litterally threw a guy off of him. Kid has potential but needs a real shot.

Honestly do you really think it matters who they take -- they will still be the Bears?

Looks like it's nearly unanimous...

With the fourth pick in the 2005 draft, the Chicago Bears select Braylon Edwards - WR - Michigan.
