Having just watched his defensive line coach put six NFL draft hopefuls through something that from now on should simply be called "The Krumrie Drill," Buffalo Bills coach Mike Mularkey found himself wondering if maybe 44-year-old Tim Krumrie should still be playing the position instead of coaching it.

After all Krumrie - a two-time all-American nose guard at the University of Wisconsin who spent 12 years in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals - certainly gave the youngsters everything they could handle during Wednesday's UW pro timing day at the McClain Center.

"Too bad I think the Bengals still have the rights to him," Mularkey said, chuckling.

But the exercise Krumrie put the six former UW linemen - Erasmus James, Anttaj Hawthorne, Jason Jefferson, Jonathan Welsh, Kalvin Barrett and Darius Jones - was no joke. In fact, Mularkey said one of the reasons the Bills took Ohio State defensive tackle Tim Anderson in the third round of last year's draft was the way he performed against Krumrie at the Buckeyes' pro day.

I wonder if this is any indication of us taking Hawthorne in the second round?
