According to Adam Schefter on NFL network Jay Fiedler is going to the Jets to back up Pennington. 5 year deal

Gosh, do the Jets try to sign everyone?! Seems like they bring in every free agent for a visit.

Solid backup for them. Escpecially with how fragile Pennington is.

The JETS will find that Fiedler is a horrible, spaghetti armed QB that throws more TD to opponents than his own team..... Oh well, too bad for them.

Hate to say it but I agree with the Jets fan :eek:

They have Curtis Martin, Coles is back, Pennington is a good starting QB (when healthy). They are also building a great Defense with top-notch line backing. The loss of Jason Ferguson will hurt but they have some solid players. They will be in the hunt for the playoffs once again which is more than we can say for our Bills in the last 5 years.

Stop being such a :homer: finch if you want to talk smack go to the smack forum!

I think it's great the Fiedler is staying in the AFC East. Can't think of too many other QB's that I would rather face.

Ummm He has a winning record against the Bills ... I think he has only lost one game to us that he has started and finished. His play-action ability used to eat our vaunted D for lunch.

It really is a good move for the Jets, Jay may not have the best arm, but surrond him with the right players and he will win. I'm a rare Fin fan that thinks the guy gave his heart and soul for our team, he was always getting banged up, but kept playing. And that offense we ran, well not to many QB's would be good in it!

I think Jay will start at least 4 or 5 games for them this year, Pennington is a paper doll!!!

Well if the phins beat them this year you can thank the Bills. Our D was the one that banged up Chad's Shoulder last year causing him to get the surgery this off season :snicker:

I wouldn't call him a paper tiger. He has played thru a lot of the injuries. Now if you want to pick on a wussy lets talk about AJ Feeley and his little fits :baby:

I'm not that big a fan of AJ, when he stopped and didn't even try and knock Pat Williams (I think it was him) from returning that int for a TD, I lost all repect for him!

Good signing. He might get some playing time with pennington always getting nicked up. I would hate to face him again. No matter how good our D was ranked he always found a way to kill us.

I am not trying to stir the pot here. It just seems the Bills are resting their laurels on an unproven QB. I think the Bills Defense is top 5, but who knows if Losman is truly an upgrade.
As for Fiedler and the Jets, it is somewhat comforting to have him here seeing that Chad has not played a full season yet. And is a huge upgrade from Quincy "where is my 8-ball" Carter.

I can't really fault Feeley for not trying to tackle Williams. It would have hurt to try and tackle a guy like that.
