To clearify Steelers OL situation for you all. They lost RG Vincent to the Ravens and RT Ross to the Cardinals. They expect their all-pro G Simmons to come back from injury to re-claim the RG position and they all but give the RT position to their 2004 3rd round pick Max. To the Steelers, Womack might be an ideal candidate to 1) backup Simmons in case another unforeseen injury happens there and 2) give Max a little bit competition.
