Jennings: Worst of free agency signings

    According to Clark:
But San Francisco topped that by handing a $12 million signing bonus to tackle Jonas Jennings. He wasn't in the top five free-agent tackles of one NFL club I checked with and was No. 5 with another. He's big, he's young and he fills a need, but scouts complained that he wore down as the season wore on. Moreover, they said he wore down as games wore on. I know that happens, but it shouldn't happen to someone who just broke the bank.

"Wore Down" is an understatment. He had to have his right arm taped into place before, and sometimes again during games.

Didn't need cbs.sportsline to tell us that. We already knew what JJ was all about.

The one thing ya had to give Jonas was that he would swallow up Jason Taylor every time we played Miami.... but of course that still doesn't make him worth that kind of bucks.... when's the last time he played a full 16 games?

You can also say that Abraham owned Jennings. God that was awful to watch that matchup.

Prediction: JJ plays 2 years and is either traded or cut.

so if he plays 2 years and is cut, does that mean he's cut after 3 seasons on the roster?

going by how much he actually plays, y'know
