It was on NFL Access last night, seems the Vikings have the inside edge, but that the Eagles, Seahawks and another team I forget sent out feelers to him and that the Eagles may fax him a contract.

Eagles don't need Plaxico. They keep thinking they need more weapons and that's why they haven't won the SuperBowl. They're wrong.

All their weapons are fine. If McNabb would stop choking they'd already have won a SB.

I'm beginning to agree with Rush Limbough. McNabb is overrated.

Where are the Eagles going to get the money to sign him?

According to the NY Daily News today, Burress turned down a 6 year, $24 million offer from the NY Giants including a two-tiered $8 million SB that would have paid Burress about $14 million over the first 3 years, not counting incentives. The Giants said that they upped their bonus offer by more than $500,000 and were disgusted that Burress walked away from it.

It sounds like Burress is intent on getting as much money as he possibly can for signing because he feels that, if he doesn't get what he wants, he can go back to Pittsburgh for a year and become a FA again next year when the market might be better for him.

if they got plax, their offense will be lights out...id definitley watch every eagles game too (thank you sunday ticket). plax said he would only go to a pass happy team though.
