Eagles don't need Plaxico. They keep thinking they need more weapons and that's why they haven't won the SuperBowl. They're wrong.
All their weapons are fine. If McNabb would stop choking they'd already have won a SB.

Where are the Eagles going to get the money to sign him?
According to the NY Daily News today, Burress turned down a 6 year, $24 million offer from the NY Giants including a two-tiered $8 million SB that would have paid Burress about $14 million over the first 3 years, not counting incentives. The Giants said that they upped their bonus offer by more than $500,000 and were disgusted that Burress walked away from it.
It sounds like Burress is intent on getting as much money as he possibly can for signing because he feels that, if he doesn't get what he wants, he can go back to Pittsburgh for a year and become a FA again next year when the market might be better for him.Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.
