To capture your desktop, go to your desktop and hold down ALT, then the press the PRINT SCREEN Button. Then go to your favorite image editor and click PASTE. Finally, resize it for uploading.

I have 4 different drives, with different operating systems, on my computer--three of which are never used to access the Internet except to get program updates--and I have Webshots, a desktop and screen-saver program, installed on all of them. It puts a new picture on my desktop every 24 hours or whenever I boot into the drive (if I don't go there every day).

The program is free and comes with a set of photos--you can select the type from several choices--and you can download additional photos to add to your collection from their website. If you just register as a free user, you can download up to 5 photos per day from them, but if you become a member, you can get an unlimited number of photos at one time. You can also create new folders and add your own photos to the program if you like. I currently have more than 500 photos of various types in my collection. You can choose to have some or all of them rotate randomly on your desktop and as part of your screen saver.

Presently on one of my drives I have a photo of the planet Neptune. On another I have a close-up photo of a wolf's face. And, on a third, I have a XXX photo that can go without description on this forum. I don't usually access the fourth drive, so I have no idea what is on that desktop at the moment. Since I like to access programs from my desktop, there are icons all over the place on all 4 drives, although the icons, like the programs, are different from one drive to the next based on the primary purpose for which I use each drive.
