A Brandon Spoon injury doesn't worry as much as a Rueben Brown injury! That would be a huge blow to us if Brown is hurt seriously!

It was reported on WNSA. They said that Rueben walked off gingerly on his own. They are guessing that it might be just a bruised knee, he took a helmut to it.

God, I hope Rueben is going to be OK. It looks like Spoon is out injured again already. He was nicked up last year as well. I'm going to guess that this guy is not going to have an NFL career.

Just as an FYI..let's track the injuries that are occurring in training camps throughout the NFL....

We apparently have Rueben Brown and Brandon Spoon injured.

Chargers had to cart LaDainian Thomlinson off their field today with a lower leg injury (bad news for them if it's serious!!)

Miami's Jay Fiedler is still having hip problems.

Corey Dillon with the Bengals is dinged up and on light duty. Michael Westbrook has a hurt wrist...

Post further updates if you see them....

We are officially lacking depth at LB...not that we weren't already

ArcticWildMan

So do I, but we saw first hand last year what one or two critical injuries can do to a team.

It's a sad but true fact that injuries can change an entire NFL season.

Cowart and Ostroski absolutely screwed up and chances we had IMO...

Well not much out there to replace Spoon.

Let the speculation of Bryson for LB depth begin LOL

I wouldn't mind moving Bryson for a body at LB and a low draft pick...

Ok WGR just said Ruben has a knee sprain and will miss this weekend only and Spoon has a torn bicep and will most likely be out the year.

Erik Flowers has a minor chip fracture in his neck and Tyrone Robertson sprained his shoulder today. Neither are considered serious luckily.

sounds to me like Spoon is worthless, just as I suspected.

I think when his career is over, last season will be considered his best

naw...he ain't worthless...i think he;s a spielman if he can stay healthy

I think that being able to take a pounding is an NFL requirement.

If RJ was not as soft, he would still suck, just not as bad.

even I could walk away from a scrimmage with the Browns injury free

Spoon's Injury is very similar to the Patriot's Ted Johnson had a while back.

These guys get so ripped in the offseason in the weight room they become "to rigid"

He was out for the season

I think this is the beginning of the end for Flowers. A chipped bone in the neck seems to me a bit more severe and debilitating than they're letting on. If this guy can't go full bore, forget it.

Here's a radical Idea-

DE Flowers is small, but quick- and hanging on to a roster spot by a thread. What about making him a MLB? Fletcher will get most of the snaps anyway- why not?

Bruce is Loose

I like that idea... it would also allow us to add another DL without losing anyone that has potential. LB depth and a halfway decent DL man and we are not in bad shape at all, although I would still like anoteher good CB... next year!

Flowers doesn't have the instincts to play MLB
