I dont know why but I am big on Freddy and Aiken.

Yea, I think Aiken is going to break out next year and be our 3rd WR. He's got the size to be Mould's replacement in a couple of years, but first he needs to work on his concentration and consistency. I see Aiken passing Reed for the 3rd spot by the begining of training camp. Love FF, but don't see him as much more than a special teams guy next year.

I like aiken. Fast freddie could turn out to be like a Randle El type WR.

To be honest guys I think Josh Reed will have a breakout camp and be the #3 WR, and I think he will have a good year!!!!!

My thoughts and to be honest i hope to god I am right!!!

So far, we've seen nothing from Aiken (except a TD pass!), but Reed has shown flashes and had a decent rookie year when Drew was spreading the ball around. I like Aiken too. He has good hands, good leaping ability, and prototypical size, but he just hasn't shown me that much in games. I have a feeling that JP is going to value Reed coming across the field this year on the frequent abandonments of the pocket. I can't wait to watch an atheletic QB play for the Bills again. Flutie was so much fun to watch! I see the same type of potential and then some from JP.

Reed...

Gotta be Aiken, if not him, it will be a F/A...

If Reed can beat anybody for the 3rd WR (or even 4th WR) spot, it will be the result of a minor miracle.

Your going to see a rotation to fit the package but Reed will be the primary #3

Probably because Reed has disappointed so much. :snicker2:

My thoughts exactly. Aiken or Corey Bradford. I wish TD would bring this guy in for a visit. He would be a perfect slot WR. Big, strong, good hands and good speed. Aiken may of been a big victim of DBs uncanny ability to lock on WRs. He was open a lot when I saw him, but rarely got a pass.

Josh Reed...with Sam Aiken seeing ample playing time.

Exactly. Damn, why is this guy so smart?

Reed will be fine.

I agree wide outs usually take longer to devlop this is his 4th year I can see him doing well but the numbers might be misleading if we become that power running team I expect us to be.

He might not have great numbers because he won't have to. With us running the ball (so they say), it won't allow for many oportunities from Reed. But thats fine, as long as gets open and catches the ball when it hits him in the hands.

he has had a break out camp for three years he sucks we need to replace him, he disappears throught the season, and to have a rotation at the number 3 is not good for the offesive chemistry go with aiken, or fa no one else

Good point, Andy. Reed's strength may play right into JP's needs. I just hope they're tall enough to see each other over the OL.

I don't think that Reed can hold the 3rd spot. He really doesn't get a lot of seperation and has no speed. Great hands but you have to be able to get open. If the Bills can find a way to use him like a Wayne Chrebet then he could really help us, like I said he does have great hands and like Chrebet NO speed.

I wouldn't say he has great hands anymore. I said that the 1st year. Then...I don't know what happened and he went downhill from there. I say take a strong look at him in training camp. If he doesn't do well, put in Aiken, and keep Reed as backup - then draft a decent prospect next year and possibly cut Reed come training camp or keep him as a cheap backup and let others prove themselves for the 3rd spot.

u got to realize other teams in the nfl don't give a 4 year window to blossom we should have cut him in the first place last year, what kind of cap do we save if we do cut him, the bills should pick up someone to replace him like corey bradford, carlos lee, or alex bannister, they all could be had for the same amount of money he is making if not less

This is it for Reed. His last chance IMO.
