Could the NFL have an NHL like lockout??

NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue concerned about lack of progress towards a new collective bargaining agreement.

2007 is an uncapped year in the NFL, exactly what does that mean?

I guarantee that it will be solved before the end of next season and we will NEVER see the uncapped year.

Don't worry. The reason the hockey strike is going on is 1) the owners are morons and over-expanded beyond what they should have, 2) hockey is nowhere near as popular, or has as much money on the table as the NFL, and 3) the owners in the NHL are trying to totally destroy the hockey union, hence going for a salary cap.

The NFL will not make the same mistake they made in the 80s again. They know whats at stake. I have no worries at all about the future of the NFL.
