    Haslett admits using steroids

He described the introduction of steroids by the Bills to one of their new teammates in the 1980s.

"I played with a guy who came into the league, he came out of the USFL," Haslett said. "He was 270, and he would never have made our team if he didn't get up to 300. The linemen got him together, got him a little supplemental pill for the week and he got up to about 305 and made our team. And he's probably one of the all-time great players in Bills history. He was a great player."

While his description fits former Bills center Kent Hull, Haslett would not name him. Hull joined the Bills from the USFL New Jersey Generals in 1986 and played 11 seasons in Buffalo.

Haslett has been New Orleans' head coach since 2000.

Haslett might be a bigger snitch than Canseco the way he's calling Barry B out.. he might as well have given Hull's name with the player Bio he gave and pointing out it was a great lineman from the USFL.

What's next a Tell-All book about the NFL Steroid abusers over the last 30 years?

Steroids were not illegal in the 80s. Steroids did not become illegal until 1991. Many, many NFL players used steroids.

It wasn't tested for, it wasn't illegal.

Mark Gastineau didn't use roids either! Neither did Lyle Alzado or Tony Mandarich

Interesting that everyone is ripping on Haslett...but what if Hull did use steroids? I wouldn't be a fan of that either.

Haslett is a snitch, but it sucks if its true.

Considering that it wasn't tested for and wasn't illegal, it doesn't change my opinion of Hull at all even if it is true.

Or it says South Park is bad .....

I do not think taking steroids, pre-ban, reflects poorly on player since in many cases medical doctors were giving it to them.

It doesn't help his chances of getting in the HoF with the state of Athletics and the witch hunts that this might cause in the League.. They wern't illegal then why did Haslett even bring up steroids in the NFL?

Snitch just trying to destroy reputations because the only year he did anything in the League he had to take roids to get ROY.
