    What's up with Anderson?

So...I wonder what was wrong with Bennie Anderson? We haven't signed him yet! He'll probably go by the wayside like DeMulling over a few thousand dollars.
Where else would you rather be than right here right now?

Anderson is not that worthy of a G for us to pursue for anything over the vet minimum and as depth.

and there is a lot of negative press on him from Ravens fans as well

Anderson is not going anywhere. I think he is more of a backup plan

I think if the Bills get what they want our starting line would look like this:

      Shelton - Baas - Teague - Villarrial - Williams

      Just my opinion

That would be a very nice line IMO. Baas was a very good Guand before moving to Center and our line would be pretty young too.....Damn, that would be great.

Not that I don't believe you, but do you have any websites siting this as I would like to read them? I thought that he scored well with Scouts Inc..

He scored a 70 on ESPN Insider, and seems like he could be competition for Tucker at LG. He is a mauler.

Speaking of Anderson, what's with Tim Anderson? He had like two tackle last year in limited duty. Does anyone think he will be able to play a much bigger role w/o Pat this year?

The "book" on him is that he's a powerful, straight ahead run blocker, but deficient in pass blocking and is also not very mobile. It has also been said he has trouble keeping his weight down. Actually, he seems alot like Jamie Nails....remember him? He may be better than Nails, but he's similar is more than a couple respects.

He damn well better be ready! You'd think that a third round pick would be.

I'm surprised. I thought we'd have signed Anderson by now. He's the kind of big guard the Bills like. McNally could work on his pass blocking technique. Maybe they think they can draft Bass from Michigan with the 2nd round pick so they're waiting.

I'm thinking that maybe they just perceive him as another Ross Tucker. And it seems that it's not Guard that we need to be looking but more T or C. We are fine at Guard...
