    Suspect secondary stifles Chargers

    With LaDainian Tomlinson under control, the Oakland Raiders seemingly had the San Diego Chargers where they wanted them -- a running team forced to live through the air.

    One problem. The Raiders secondary was of primary concern, so beset by injury and illness that they hadn't practiced as a unit all week.

    No matter.

    With Charles Woodson inactive with an ankle injury, Raiders defensive backs intercepted three passes and broke up seven others in a 27-7 win over the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium.

    Starters Terrance Shaw, Rod Woodson and Tory James all had interceptions.
