TO CONVERT OR NOT TO CONVERT

    Just some reading material.
There's another Matt Jones blurb in there.

TO CONVERT OR NOT TO CONVERT

    By Lloyd Vance

As the NFL Draft quickly approaches for another year, many recognizable and successful college QB’s are confronted with the decision to stick with the only position they have ever played since they first put on a helmet (QB) or switching to another position to have a chance to play in the NFL. Quarterback is the most scrutinized position in the NFL in terms of measurables. NFL Personnel staffs tend to believe QB’s must be over 6’2, weigh at least 200 Pounds to take the constant pounding, be able to throw a minimum of 70 yards, score high on the Wonderlink test, run a 4.8 or better to avoid the rush, and be a 60% accurate passer. That is a lot for an individual to have in one package, especially for a QB making the jump from college to the “Fast” NFL game.
