(Pittsford, NY) Friday morning, Buffalo Bill players donned full pads in order to practice with the visiting Cleveland Browns under sunny, powder blue Western NY skies. Owner Ralph Wilson, along the numerous fans in attendance, were treated to a crisp up-tempo practice.

Rueben walks Off- Buffalo's Pro-Bowl left guard Rueben Brown went down during some of the line drills and hobbled off of St John Fisher's practice fields. It seemed to be something along the lines of a twisted knee, and nothing serious. He exited the practice fields under his own power.

At Last year's training camp, the team seemed to have caught the injury bug early on and was never able to completely kick it. This year's camp has been relatively injury-free thus far, with OL Jerry Ostroski, recovering from his 2001 leg injury, the only Bills player to have spent significant practice time on the sidelines acting in the role of a spectator and cheerleader. This, despite another scorching, humid start to training camp and the typical rigors that accompanies two-a days. Buffalo strength and conditioning coach Rusty Jones worked overtime this offseason to get his players ready to compete, and he deserves credit for the progress a lot of young guys are showing on the field.
