View Full Version : if McMichael gets only 15 yards and then fumbles.....

I am in the playoffs!!!!

Oh yeah, and Fiedler needs to stay under 31 points tonight.

in BFZ FFL #2 there was a 3 way tie for the East division at 6-7, with this being hte last week.

Me- Dozerdogs (1-4 div. record)
Halbert- OJ Experience (2-3 )
Sabre allly- The poutines (3-2)

Because of my dismal divisional record, and because Ally and Halbert were playing against each other this weekend, the only way I was going to make the playoffs was if I won, and those two tied.

Right now, Ally has 90 pts (no players left) and Halbert has 91 pts, with McMichael left. If McMichael repeats his performance vs the Bills ( 1 catch, 1 fumble) then I have a shot at a tie (each 10 yards is worth 1 pt, each lost fumble is -2). A 15 yard catch would give him 1 pt (92 total) then Urlacher has to lay him out and cause a fumble (-2- 90 total). That would create a tie, and I'm in!!!

Right now, I have 111 points (no players left) and my opponent (Shelby) has 80 with Fiedler left.

Man this is getting interesting!!:hubba:

 I had 94 points last night. What happened?

I wish you would have had 94!

It's more likely a TE would get 30 yards receiving than the crazy scenario I painted.

It's all Ahman Green's fault......or Garrison Hearst's.........losers. hockey players play on sore knees all the time.

No, that was McKnight, not McMichael :(

My bad, a friend told me it was McMichael.

I get those two confused all the time myself. Easy to do, since they're Phins so they both SUCK! :snicker:

Wouldn't you know, it my friend is also a woman. :chuckle:

Oh man, I thought it was McMichael, too when I saw it.

Well, Dozer, sorry you didn't make it. I had the second most points in another league and got knocked out of the playoffs by the guy with the sixth most points so it could be worse.

Good think I picked up William Green cuz I'd be in big trouble right about now.

Once again, congrats and good luck in the playoffs, Halbert. I'd love to see you win the league.

I just checked that other league I mentioned. OK, I was mistaken, the other guy was 5th in scoring, not 6th. But I made another mistake - check this out:

Thanks, Ally. Good thing I picked up William Green when he wasn't doing anything. Marshall won't be himself the rest of the year and I'd be starting Duckett or some scrub from the waiver wire.

In reality, anything can happen in FF playoffs. It's virtually a crapshoot, especially with only 2 games deciding it.

Great win Halbert...

Now go out htere and represent our division! Show them what mediocrity is all about!!!

I'll do my best. Which for me is average.
