Not many RFAs signed this year

Last year signing Restricted Free Agents was in vogue, a strategy I thought in general was a good idea since younger players who usually showed something got their money NOW but generally got less than they would have waited a year and continued being successful. This year only ONE RFA was signed (cornerback Kelly Herndon, who went from Denver to Seattle (CB Kelly Herndon, who went from Denver to Seattle) and one has just been signed (safety Brian Russell of Minnesota Vikings being signed by Browns with Browns waiting to see if Minnesota will match).

RFA signing period ends April 15; I hope Tom Donahoe can find one gem somewhere.
