I hope this turns out so. I'm suprised that Big Ben wasn't out front. Maybe a lot of voters thought it was too much lick that he had the season that he did. I don't foresee him having another year like that. I can see him struggle more for some reason.
Where else would you rather be than right here right now?

I can see JP being better than the rest of those guys, but these results are really surprising (granted, the poll's methodology isn't exactly statistically sound, but I won't get into that). It's not shocking that Rivers came in last since he didn't even play last year. But JP had such limited playing time last year and didn't do anything spectacular- in this poll it appears that the lack of playing time worked in his favor because he's being judged on his college performance. Ben and Eli were judged on their NFL performance: Eli looks like he'll be a decent QB but he's not the next Peyton, and Big Ben struggled when it counted.

By the way, if this poll turns out to be right and McGahee's knee holds up for 3 or 4 more seasons, TD should be considered a draft genius.

only 5% for Phillip Rivers??? the 49'ers will have something to say about that... when (and if) they use the first pick of this years draft to trade for him.

This was posted on bb.com yesterday. Apparently a lot of them (myself included) have gone and voted hundreds of times each for JP. Not very accurate but what the hell.

Big Ben has proved that he is currently the best QB of the 2004 draft. That could change, but there is no way Losman or Rivers could even be graded yet.

Not statistically sound? LMAO. What it's really saying is people in buffalo have more time on their hands than most other NFL cities...lol

If what draz54 is saying is true (sometimes they will let you vote multiple times but not count it) then it is like the Chunky Soup promotion. Personally I never believe pollsters anyways.

Even excluding the huge errors in the poll due to uneven responses from each city and multiple votes by individuals ... what has the average fan seen of Losman and Rivers, and to a lesser extent Manning and even Big Ben, to be able to have any knowledge at all upon which to base their vote.

It's true (link). When it was 1st posted, JP was in last place.

I think Manning and Big Ben have played enough that it's possible to make an educated guess as to how their NFL careers will go. Losman and Rivers simply haven't been on the field enough to make any type of judgement yet.
