BZFFL#1 Week 14 Recap

Let the real fun begin!

Yonkers Platypi Trappers (BF1) - 70
The Route 20A Cows (Philagape) – 138
The Route 20A Cows were the first to clinch a playoff spot, so what was left to accomplish in the last week of the regular season? Well, they became the leading scorer in the league, passing Aero Planes by 2 points on their way toa whopping 138. The Cows are the #1 seed in the playoffs.
The Cows had a second-straight massive game from Ricky Williams (31 pts.) while Deuce McAllister and the the Panthers D scored 29 and 26. Imagine what could have been if the inconsistent Jimmy Smith would have performed up to expectations.
The Yonkers Platypi Trappers expiriment with drafting nearly all Bills players ended in disappointment just like the Bills’ playoff hopes.
Earthquake Zone (Earthquake Enyart) – 115
TacklingDummyRJ – 79
Earthquake Zone has big freaking momentum in their favor entering the playoffs. They racked up their 10th straight win after a slow 1-3 start to their season. They are now the #2 seed in the playoffs, but actually didn’t clinch a spot until this week.
Balanced scoring was key for Earthquake as 6 of 8 starters scored 12 or more, including 24 from Terrell Owens and 19 from Tom Brady against the sorry Bills D.
TDRJ’s disappointing season came to an end with a fitting result.
Ebenezer - 75
Lake Eerie Monsters (SB43) – 86
Ebenezer could have made the playoffs with a win and a Earthquake Zone loss, but just the opposite happened, and Ebenezer will watch from the Lazy Boy.
Lake Eerie Monsters had terrible luck all year, but ended it by taking out the team that led the Central nearly all year…something to be proud of.
Aero Planes (Aero II) - 72
Ferdilizers (CalBillsFan) – 99
After this one was over, there was a tie at the top of the West. With both of these teams sitting at 7-7, we had to go to a tiebreaker. Both teams had identical division records, so the second tiebreaker, ‘points for’, was used and Aero Planes will advance to the playoffs while Ferdilizers joining 7 other teams on the sidelines.
Hart Attack (Don137) – 78
The Mean Sharks (lordofgun) – 77
Hart Attack clinched the lone Wild Card this week by barely holding off the Mean Sharks. While having the 3rd best record of all teams in the playoffs, Hart Attack must enter the playoffs as the #4 seed because they did not win their division. Hart Attack must now face the high-flying Route 20A Cows, the BZ Bowl favorites.
Clumping Platelets – 68
Rochester Rampage (Mike32282) – 58
BLAH BLAH BLAH…have fun watching, guys!
