It won't work. I have my alarm clock on the other side of the room from my bed, on top of my mini bookshelf. I have to get up and walk to hit to turn it off.

Not only could you still have a trap placed on top of your clock, you could seed the floor of your room with multiple mousetraps like a minefield. :up:
