His team beaten up, Chicago Bears coach Dick Jauron faces the prospect of losing two more starters, including quarterback Jim Miller.

Jauron performed a weekly ritual following another loss as he went over the growing injury report Tuesday.

Miller was scheduled for an MRI on his left knee Tuesday; right guard Chris Villarrial was to be checked out for back spasms; and running back Anthony Thomas (finger) and tight end Dustin Lyman (knee), lost earlier, were officially put on injured reserve.

Jim Miller's season of pain is finally over. The Chicago Bears quarterback will miss the final three games with a sprained ligament and bone bruise in his left knee.

The injury won't require surgery but will leave him on crutches. Miller hurt the knee in the third quarter of Monday night's 27-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Bothered by a sore shoulder and elbow that restricted his ability to throw the ball, Miller has been fighting injuries for three years. His injuries include a torn Achilles' tendon and problems with his hip, side, ankle and hamstring.
