New Orleans Saints quarterback coach Turk Schonert wanted a true measure of McPherson's arm strength. So Schonert had him throw flat-footed with his toes on the yard marker. The end result was a pass which effortlessly sailed through the air 72-yards.

Good player, but the gambling problem will continue to haunt him, especially in this draft.

If we were in the need of a young qb, i wouldnt hesitate to take mcpherson in the third...seeing as we need an RB, id be extatic if we got clarett in the 4th.

McPherson will be the best QB to come out of this draft. I guarantee it

The only other QB I could see being better then McPherson is Charlie Frye...Rodgers and Smith imo will be busts.

Smith will be tops but he'll be a late bloomer, 4-5 yeas down the road. Rodgers is a bust just like Leinart will be next year.

I dont like him at all. Just didnt impress me in college at any point and failed to put away some games when they needed him to.

Best QB out of this draft will be Andrew Walter.

I never thought I would say this because I thought he was a stiff until mid-way through his junior year, but I think Jason Campbell is going to surprise the heck out of a lot of people. He was always a good athlete, but has really begun to learn how to throw the ball and play the position and, as a result, has really improved a lot over the last two seasons. I don't think he's capable of stepping in and playing well right away, but, if he continues to learn and improve the way he has the last two years, he could become a very good NFL starting QB in the NFL.
Now, I know that's a big IF, but it's the same thing that will determine which, if any, of the other QBs in this year's draft make it on the next level, too.
