i'll have you know i don't work very hard. It's really starting to slow down in the old x-ray department now... the snow is gone and the weather nice so less injuries happening less illness... by summer it will be DEAD. most people get hurt falling on ice, driving, playing hockey, snowmobiling, skiing and things like that or get the flu/pneumonia (needing chest x-rays) during the winter obviously.... the summer it's the odd ATV or car accident but not nearly as much. plus you factor in the doctors vacations and things and i spend more time sitting here doing nothing than taking x-rays... but as long as i'm being paid no problem.

anyway... i'm back to make my pick buy if my time rolls around Rich and my top guy is there you can feel free.. inever know when somethign will pop up.

Well, I'm done until the 12th round. Not a bad start, though. I still have some work to do on the defensive side, but the way things have worked out, most of my targeted players are still on the board, so I'm in excellent shape. My OL is off to a great start!

how about this for a solution for missed picks.... before ever 2 rounds every team submits a list of your top 10 players to EB not to be opened until you either PM them and say you will miss or their time is up.....

all 10 could go obviously but at least there's a better chance... might be too much work for eb though

I looked at it this way I wanted a speed reciever to go with Culpepper, he was the best there, next pickafter that wasnt till the 11th so was either there or never and if he could get 900 yards and 9td woth Bledsoe as his QBwhat could he do with Culpepper

Nah. Hartwell was never part of the plan.

Of the 54 players I targeted before this draft, so far I've picked 3 of them, I've actually upgraded at 5 positions (got better players than I projected), and have lost only 4 to other owners. So, I'm not worried at all. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get most of the players I wanted.

Right now, I have spent $52 million on my team, leaving me another $33 million in cap room for about 45 players. I have traded out of the next 3 rounds, have 1 pick in the 12th, 2 in the 13th, and then don't pick again until the 20th round, I believe. I'll be just fine in terms of the cap, as I've been tracking what I've spent and what I intend to spend in the coming rounds. I had to do a little juggling since I traded up into the 8th, but I've made the necessary adjustments.
