Good pick Mikey. Simmons was a guy who benefitted greatly from playin next to TKO but he is a solid LBer and a good 15th round pickup.
Thanks man. I was hoping he would fall to me. I really like what he's done on that defense so far.

Good pick, I was going to take him in a few earlier rounds, but the need for other positions outweighed that option.

I'm so glad that I traded the $4 and $3 million rounds. My projection currently is like $2 million under the cap and that's without passing any rounds. I still might pass one of the $2 million or $1 million rounds if I can't trade.

well... my list took a beating in round 16. Palmer was at the top... with Boldin or Lav coles, then Matt Lepsis (OT and LS) and Adalius Thomas (solid LB and top gunner in game) Jersey was just killin me... they all got taken and i had no pick in the round... so again i ignored my starting OL spots and took skill positions.

My OL is gonna be crap. i have no 18 either. my next 3 picks have to be OL... but even then i'll be scraping at the bottom of the barrell.

But I looked at Winslow as a 1st round pick... did everyone forget about him or just didn't want to pull the trigger due to his injury? I see it as an extra 1st round pick... and a good one. I will be able to use him this year... not sure if he will get injured for sure or be affective... but I figure it's a great pickup for next year at minimum....

i also saw the WR list getting really down and wanted to get my deep threat #3.... i also had to consider that Randle El can return kick and punts. I think he's going to ave a big year with Plex out of the picture.

L.A. Playa

I didnt forget about him, but I needed production and he will be useless this season. He could end up being a steal but I dont think anyone valued him enough to take him at a 2 mil pick. If hed have dropped to the 1 mil or lower i MIGHT have taken him.

Good thing I made those trade ups to get Palmer and Boldin. I was going to pass on Palmer 1 more round to see if I could get away with it since everyone else had QBs but I thought to myself that some teams have older vet QBs and they might want a future QB so I couldn't take the chance.

I actually did that twice. Grant it not for millions of dollars but I agree with football players on this.. if they do bad they either take a cut or get released. If they do good they should be allowed to get a raise. Baseball players I don't agree with them looking to get a raise because no matter what if they sign a big contract they get paid all that money.

Here is a hypothetical question since people have chosen TAKEN players today lets say player A checks in really quick chooses a TAKEN player then leaves right away and doesnt realize he took a TAKEN player, we finish round and go through make up time and he doesnt check in at that point does he forfeit the pick ??? I think the answer is yes because it is each owners responsibility to make sure they dont take a TAKEN player but just wanted to get clarification for my own mind

I agree somewhat, but I think it's very hard for people to keep track of all players taken. Even with that thread of updated rounds, it's still tough, especially if a guy's name is spelled wrong or something.

Isaac Bruce and Rod Smith both had over 1,000 yards last year and Lee Evans is one of the speediest Recievers in the league and they have the most accurate passer in the game throwing to them, so geritol didnt stop Smith or Bruce last year nor most of the NFL so it wont be any different here

As Former assistant Gm of the BUshwackers I am offended by that.... I pushed hard to make sure he took Andre Johnsonn asap... since he's the 4th best WR in the NFL and far younger than Moss, Owens and Harrison.

Clayton had an EXCELLENT rookie year and should be a great #2 for many years. though personally I like Roy Williams and Lee Evans a bit better.

If Lechler was in Buffalo and had to kick in the conditions Moorman always faces (windy, rainy, snowy, windy, rainy, really windy), Lechler wouldn't have anywhere near his current stats. Lechler is a good punter, but he is overrated and couldn't handle what Moorman consistantly handles.
