YOU HEARD ME.....

Drew for backup QB..... His #'s are good enough from last year to backup Bulger and I honestly believe he may have a good year with Parcells in his ear.

my other options were Garcia... interesting but hurt and not starting... or Vinnie T.

I'll get a young guy later.

Looks like some teams passing in the 36th. I was going to pass to but got a late draft pick instead of passing so it worked out. I won't be passing any longer.

I like the McNair pick. He was my next pick if he was still there. BPA at this point.

Got some solid D depth this round, all the guys I wanted were still there. Hopefully they have a solid season this year. Bunch of youngsters.

I'll be @ both of those games as well.

I should be in Buffalo from September 9th through the 12th. I'll stay w/ a friend of mine who lives in Lancaster. I'll see all the Zoners Saturday night @ the Brew Pub again and before the game for the tailgate.

I'll be in New Orleans from the 29th of September until October 4th. My wife and I have plans for just the two of us from Thursday through Saturday, so I probably won't see any of you guys until the day of the game.

I'll be staying @ the Holiday Inn downtown, just a few blocks from the dome. You guys should come down Saturday night. There's some kinda happy hour thing there, I think. Also, a bunch of Bills fans will be gathering there Sunday before the game for a tailgate.

Devin

You ever go to Mulate's? I went there a couple times back when I was in the Air Force and was stationed in Biloxi. Good food, plus I like the Cajun band (though my wife probably won't like that part).

Devin
05-12-2005, 11:37 AM
Speaking of which Biloxi is the greatest place ever! I played poker at the Grand for like 6 hours last weekend.

I have never eaten there but it sounds good, I love seafood so I am in heaven here. We are going for Dunguness crab and beer tonight.

I loved everything about Biloxi except for that hot a** weather! I was there in the summer, so it was unbearable.

I'll pencil us in for Mulate's on that Monday, then.

Devin
05-12-2005, 11:51 AM
Yeah man I dont know if you have been lately or the last time you were here but man its grown. They are finishing up the HUGE Hard Rock Casino here, and Trump is trying to get down here to "Vegas South".

I love this area, Biloxi is about an hour from me so its not bad at all. Love being able to go and play anytime I want.

Devin

R. Rich you own the super dueces pick in this round via a trade made on 4/19, just must have never been updated.

Pick anytime or trade to me!

R. Rich

The trade is done. Make your pick. Now.

Devin
05-12-2005, 01:09 PM
Ian Scott, DT.

He and Tommie Harris next to each other next season will be monsters.

R. Rich
05-12-2005, 01:15 PM
Are they both that ugly?

Devin
05-12-2005, 01:28 PM
maybe, but they can play ball!

R. Rich
05-12-2005, 01:34 PM
I like Tommie Harris. If I were using a 4-3, he would've been on my list. Same goes for Shaun Rogers. Since my team is using the 3-4 (near and dear to me since I played in this scheme in college), I opted for Kris Jenkins as my starter and Jimmy Kennedy as my backup.

The King
05-12-2005, 01:39 PM

R. Rich
05-12-2005, 01:46 PM

Not for a 3-4 scheme, I don't. For a 4-3, other than Jenkins and Rogers, you'd be hard pressed to do better than Stroud.

Yeah Im def not running a 3-4. although I have the LBer talent to do it.

Devin
05-12-2005, 01:49 PM
Stroud is a beast, he was first on my list for DT.

R. Rich
05-12-2005, 01:52 PM
I'd have Stroud 3rd behind Jenkins and Rogers and just ahead of Kevin Williams, who might be first on this list very soon.

I consider Seymour more of a DE than a DT, so I don't include him in there.

Devin
05-12-2005, 01:55 PM
I feel the same about Seymour. I loved Jenkins as well, guy is a wall.

R. Rich
05-12-2005, 02:04 PM
Not bad, MBB. They're all so good that it's really close. Like I said, I think Kevin Williams of Minnesota will overtake ALL of them in the next year or two anyway. That guy is awesome!

Devin

True.

One of the big reasons I traded out of so many rounds was so I could have plenty of picks in the smaller salary rounds where I could just stock my team w/ quality depth. By doing that, I was able to come up w/ 25 picks in rounds 20-30. There was still plenty of good talent available, so I stocked up.

Obviously everyone is under the cap so they did their cap managing they just did it different. Retro got 2 1st round picks, I got 2 2nd round picks. We obviously felt that we could afford to use the money early rather then either keep our picks or trade some other picks and get later 1s.

What do people see? Oh, I don't know, maybe the greatest villain in movie history. 2-3 years ago spring break in Ft Lauderdale her and Britney Spears came into a club me and my friends were at, they obviously went upstairs and didn't stay down with the rest of the crowd but suprisingly Britney actually looked really good in person. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on Star Wars. I happen to like the movies a lot. I was 8 years old when the first Star Wars movie was released, so these movies were special to me. I collected the toys and waited in line to see the movies when they were released. I don't hold my opinion out there as fact, so I realize there are some who don't get into it. No problem. That's the beauty of living in a free society.

I got to the theater about 9pm and there was no line. Of course, it was playing on a bunch of screens. The multiplex (they have great sound systems) actually let people get their seats way before the show started. We got our seats around 10pm and just waited until the show started.

What did I think of the movie? I liked it a lot. I'd have to say it's the 3rd best of the entire series (again, that's my opinion). How I'd rate them:

6. Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
5. Episode I: The Phantom Menace
4. Episode II: Attack of the Clones
3. Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
2. Episode IV: A New Hope
1. Episode V: The Empire Srikes Back

Hey Devin just to give you a heads up that Cotchery is not a fast guy well especially for a WR. He's more of a possession WR even though he did return a punt back against the Rams last year. I think he ran a 4.6 at the combine if memory serves me correct.

Cotchery is a guy who plays faster than he times, much like Jerry Rice did for most of his career. He doesn't have blazing speed, but does have moves that will allow him to get open, and can be physical if necessary. I would've liked to have him for my team, just because the guy is one of those WRs who likes to block.

Also, I do believe the return he had last year was a kickoff return, not a punt return.

I think he will especially in Tenn. But I wouldnt be suprised if he doesnt. Success in NFLE doesnt usually translate. Look at Ken Simonton.

I do think his attitude is a huge difference maker though.

Considering the fragile state of their RBs, he should get a shot. If he does, I'm sure he'll be okay. He's not as good as Chris Brown, but he isn't bad in spot duty.

Considering the fragile state of their RBs, he should get a shot. If he does, I'm sure he'll be okay. He's not as good as Chris Brown, but he isn't bad in spot duty.

I think if he bulked up a bit he would be a good FB option. He did well blocking in college. And he is fast enough to be running threat as well. 4.43 I believe.

I agree. Very very tough division.

Just think...I now have to go through and make sure that everybody has the minimum amounts necessary as far as rushing attempts, passing attempts, etc. to field a team...folks better have looked at the rules for return men...

Yeah it was cutting it close with receptions for me. I had exactly 200 receptions for my WRs. Obviously it didn't include TEs, FBs or RBs but still close. Wouldn't be suprised if someone didn't get the minimium.

Yeah I was pretty careful on that part, thankfully I am well over the limit on all requirements.

What are all the requirments? I am guessing 200 receptions for WR's what else?
