If you could sign 1 CURRENT NFL player to the Bills, who would it be?

This isn't about team needs, salary caps, or free agency- just speculation. If you could take any current NFL player and have him on the Bills, who would you choose? I think I'd have to go with Ray Lewis. His intensity and passion for the game is unmatched, and he's dominant at his position. Plus, imagine having TKO and Lewis on the same D- that would be incredible.

    Runners-Up
    1. Tom Brady (this makes me sick to admit it). The guy just wins games. My only hesitation on him would be that he's in a dream situation in NE and I wonder how well he'd do with a different team that has different issues and playing styles.

    2. Tie- Terrell Owens/Randy Moss. No question these guys get the job done, but their attitudes are a distraction and their teams never seem to win the big games (something tells me it's not a coincidence).

    3. Peyton Manning- great QB- the negative on him is that he struggles in the playoffs. Also, I don't think he'd be nearly as effective behind our garbage O-line.

    Thoughts?

      Ed Reed.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
      It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I'd take Peyton. He makes that Oline look much better than they are.

Yeah I saw something about him on NFL Network last week- great player and would definitely help us add QB pressure to our D, which has been the one weak spot on an otherwise dominant unit

Yeah... I love London. Great leader, and he doesnt stab people.

I would say Moss, and this off-season it became reality

I think our LB core is our strongest unit. Id say on Defense probably a dominant DE (Peppers or Kearse) and on Offense probably a monster OL (Pace).

Id say our defense is so good right now the push would go to the O. With anchors at both sides I give JP the extra protection and throw a monster tackle in for him.

Then I would tell Vincent to ignore the red jersey.

                        Ed Reed.

Great call, MBB. Ray Ray is still very very good, but Reed is at the point Lewis was at when Baltimore won the Super Bowl: on the verge of taking over.

                          I'll take Tony Gonzalez, please.

                          Or Michael Vick.

Oh what the hell, give me Marvin Harrison if those guys don't like Buffalo.

I'd fill our big hole at LT with big Orlando Pace.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Vick might be the most overrated player in the league.

                              Give me Jonatan Ogden.
