5. Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins' 2005 opponents won a league-leading 54.7 percent of their games last year. That's what happens when all of your division opponents have winning records. The only reason Miami isn't higher is because its last-place record set it up for matchups with Tennessee and Cleveland. But the 'Fins still face challenging games against the four NFC South teams, and the beginning of their schedule, when Saban is still getting his feet wet, is very tough. They might not get their first win until Week 7 or beyond.

It's funny, yet the NFL Network and NFL.com say the Fins are 1 and Pats are 2???

by percentage the Fins have the toughest schedule...in fact the Jets and Bills are up there too.

Because we all play in easily the best division in football.

No other group of teams can come close to us.

with only four teams in each division it is easy to skew the strength of the division but you are right, even the Dolphins are better than at least half of the NFC teams.

 what was I thinking... :D

can you imagine the strength of the AFC East if Indi were still in it?

Yeah, Manning could choke against us TWICE a year!
(not counting playoffs)

The team that should offer a break, the 2-14 Dolphins, actually beat them last year and now has Nick Saban, the one coach who knows Belichick better than anyone.Obviously I want the Bills to be the ones to do it, but quite frankly I don't care WHO sweeps them. As long as they lose.

:monkeyp: Pats

The thing about the AFCE is that it doesn't matter where a team is at in the standings. Every rival game is not a gimme. Well actually it was for the Pats when Drew was our qb. Hopefully that's all changed now.

I just hope that we sweep the Dolphins again so these Dolphin fans will shut the **** up!

Its funny how some teams other fans try to say that there division is the toughest. Its not even close imo. Look at the defenses in this division. If the Dolphins get Brown look at the RBs in this division (McGahee, Dillon, Martin, Brown). Thats the strength of a football team imo. A top RB and a top defense.

Yeah, you can draw a line at 16 and almost split the conferences.

Meathead is right.

If you want to view it without the popups and just see the "Meat"

I added the conferences and color coded it as well.

Yeah, the Redzone is a great site for up to date news and stuff but their pop-ups are like a plague for those of us still without blockers.

sure sucks for the Eagles to have the 3rd easiest schedule....
