I love the colts history mock
I know Matt Jones would be great, Height, blazing speed, unfortunately i think Pittsburg may jump and the opportunity to take him at pick 30. They have a history of taking chances on college QBs converts to wide out. Ex Hines Ward, Randel El.

Everything i hear about Jones, seems to be from Mularkey
Thats Why i think the bills are going to move up!

Bengals zone mock would be a cause for a party if that actually happened.....

I like this pick a lot at #55. (which means we didn't trade for Shelton.)

Draft Ace:
#55: C Ben Wilkerson (LSU)
#86: CB Antonio Perkins (Oklahoma)

If we were going to go interior lineman here, I'd only go Baas or Spencer. Isn't Wilkerson generally considered a 3rd round pick? Don't know much about Perkins here, can anyone give me a pros/cons about him?

Colts History:
#55: WR Matt Jones (Arkansas)
#86: DT C.J. Mosley (Missouri)
#122: CB Scott Starks (Wisconsin)

 :drool2:  Please oh please oh please. This still leaves a hole at LT, but great players are picked here, and we may be able to address LT thru June 1 cuts. McNally will have at least a decent starter by week 1, no matter how or who is there.
Thanks much LOG. :posrep:

I like the Colts History the most, but I'd prefer:

#55: WR Matt Jones
#86: CB Brandon Browner
#122: C Richie Incognito / Jason Brown

I don't like Starks - he's too short and will never be more than a nickel back at best if not just a pro backup. Although I would prefer Chris Spencer for Center, I feel it is more important to get a top CB since Center has depth.

This would make my draft day - although if we get an early 2nd draft pick from Philly/TB, I could see something like:

#36/37: WR Matt Jones
#55: CB Corey Webster
#86: C Richie Incognito/Jason Brown/Ben Wilkerson or BPA and pick a Center with our 4th...

I know people don't like Incognito b'cse of his attitude problems, but he can play any O-line position and has strength and speed. McNally might be able to get his respect based on what he knows and Incognito might acknowledge McNally's experience and knowledge to the point that he might listen to him. Mularkey is also a player's coach that should appeal to him. Jason Brown would be fine here also though. Wilkerson is supposed to be pretty good, but I don't know the status of his injuries or whether he tend to be injury prone...we don't want another JJ...

I saw Perkins live quite a few times. He's very fast. I don't know what his 40 times were, but on the football field, he's fast. He's a bit overrated as a DB, and even more overrated as a return man (he capitalized on lesser teams NUMEROUS times to set his record). He also had an injury this year that took him out for quite a while.

He's going to be a project. But one that would be well worth it if his defensive smarts could be worked on.

Two Guards??? Ben Wilkerson will probably be taken in the 3rd rd at some point. And I don't like him with the injuries he's had. He will not be a good run-blocking type of Center. You need someone with great strength (Richie Incognito / Jason Brown) for that...
