Just heard on the radio that Sam Mills died today from intestinal cancer. He was 44. He was a coach with the Panthers organization the past few years. Prayers go out to his family.

PS

This guy fought the odds his whole life. They said he was to small to play LB in College. He was a stud, they said he was to small to play in the NFL, he was a studd! They said he would not go back to coach after cancer, he did!

RIP- The man was a fighter!

Shame. My family was always big Saints fans, always followed him closley. He was a true class act on and off the field. For being tremendously under-sized he played with all heart. He will be missed.
