Don't get me wrong I love Winfield but in my opinion Clements is flashier, thus more noticable and will make the Pro Bowl. Although I wouldn't trade the young Bills CB tandem for any other tandem in the league. They will be good and together for a long time to come.

I think eventually both will make the sqad but although Winfield is in my opinion better Clememts is a much more flashy player and he will get more votes.

I agree with Cal...Clements will make it first. He will be looked at as a pass coverage CB while Winfield is more of a run coverage CB. Pass coverage CB's always get the glory.

He will easily make the pro bowl I think, hes getting more covergae now since he was names The Sporitng nEws most underrated player in the league. I say this for stats:
6 picks, 2 TD, 87 tackles, 4 sacks

Nice analysis Arctic. I'm more on that side. Clements is bigger and seems to be better at covering WRs by a tad. Not sure about flashier, but I'd take Clements over Winfield as a pure cover CB. Clements was only a rookie too. He'll improve immensely this year w/ some solid safety play as well.

I think they both will get their shot. Winfield is more polished and established. He's underrated though, and Clements will have the spotlight on him more because of his flashiness. I'll still say, YES, though. He'll make the pro-bowl.

shagnsurf,

I bought a Winfield jersey after his rook year for half price but haven't seen them since.

On to discussing our CB's...IMO while comparing Winfield and Clements might be interesting in terms of their relative strengths of performance, I'm far more interested in looking at HOW they mesh together. What do they bring to the table as a UNIT? After all, they are playing for the same team.

I believe that coming from the same system with the Buckeyes is a blessing, and will prove to faciltate BOTH their development, and acquisition of ugly hawaiian print shirts.

Soon, I feel they may be the best 1-2 punch amongst CBs but for now neither will make the All Pro Game

i think before their careers end Winfield will make it 3 times and Clements 5

I completely agree with eb, i don't see either making it this year, but i see them as the best young CB tandem in the game. Winfield is an awesome corner, but he doesn't get a lot of picks, and that's what gets you to the pro-bowl now. Clements is still a year away from hawaii.

I also agree with wyo. I am really excited to see how these guys will mesh together, and how the secondary meshes as a whole. One of the most under-appreciated aspects of football is the secondary. Seeing a secondary completely on the same page is a beatutiful thing, everyone in the right spots, everyone thinking the same thing. It's quite a sight :D
