Bills Add DT: The Buffalo News reports that the Bills have added street free agent defensive tackle LaWaylon Brown. The 6'4", 315 pounder went undrafted in the 2003 draft and was cut last summer by the Seahawks. Front Office Page.

This is just a camp fodder signing....he'll get *****ed in training camp by the likes of Ben Sobieski and Jason Esposito and become jobless....

But it's Bills news none the less

Fodder for sure, but interesting none the less. Interesting that this comes the day before draft day.

Seems like this signing could have waited until after the draft was completed. Looks like someone owed somebody's agent a favor.

I like his size- that's probably the only thing good about him. Oh well, I suppose it's worth a shot if all it costs is one roster spot.

We're probably going to put him on OL. Another McNally wonder project - lol

Hahaha yeah he dosn't want Bannan's head to get to far up in the clouds, he will need some stiff compitition :lmao:

Maybe...seems unlikely that they would sign someone at this point unless maybe the guy has really improved during off season and been working out hard.

Or, it that just part of a smokescreen to take people off the scent that we might be going after a DT early? Personally I hope it's not the latter.

At least it wasn't LaWaylon Jennings.

There is definitley room for DT depth, and this guy has the size. His biggest negative is technique.

I likek the signing, it could be camp fodder, but competition is always good.

At one time Pat Williams was a undrafted free agent. It's a gamble, but hey it doesn't cost that anything.
