Saban I could see being greedy here and being forced to hold onto and take Ronnie Brown. That would be excellent from my point of view. Get greedy Saban!!

I don't like the pick......Only because I think it makes them better....

Well, it means 1 down 2 to go as far as RB's go before the Cards pick

That helps us with the Cards.

No it makes them worse this is the best case scenario, Miami almost had to trade down here but failed to do so.

:bf1: Miami and Nick Saban

i agree.the FISH could have gotten a different RB and get a draft pick or two for additional help.those salaries for z.thomas and j.taylor aren't getting any smaller either.

Great pick by Saban. Ronnie Brown was the best RB in the draft and he is going to do special things for us. I am lovin' it! :D

 Here comes the praise...haha, he is a good pick no doubt about that but the better move would of been to trade down and I sincerely doubt it was due to lack of offers, imo Saban got greedy.

bet that miami is glad they gave up a 3 round pick for gordon now.

I was actually worried that we might draft Edwards, but thank god we got a great RB.

bet that miami is glad they gave up a 3 round pick for gordon now.I am kinda torn on that. Gordon has the skills if he could just stay healthy, but he does give us good depth now behind Brown.

Edwards was by far the better pick bc Feely is gonna need all the weapons you can get him going out for passes. Nobody in our division has two excellent CB's, Edwards was the much better choice.

I disagree we just got the best back in the draft with great hands an speed he will touch the ball almost as much as Feeley. Great out of the backfield best possible choice for us if we don't trade down. We just got much better on O.

Still gotta make holes for him and it will take him time to adjust to carrying the ball every time and not sharing carries like he's used to. He'll tire quickly this season but next season he'll be dynamic.

Me thinks something is still brewing with Ricky williams too. Saban was asked point blank about it on the radio earlier and he said this changes nothing. They are still leaving the door open for Ricky to return and if he does ( I don't want him too ), thne I am sure that carries will be shared.

Plus, with Linehan running the offense, we will be using Ronnie Brown as a receiver a LOT. Minnesota last year had over 100 passes caught by the RB position. Ronnie Brown has great hands and Linehan will use them accordingly. this is a good thing seeing how Feeley may need to dump off a lot due to poor o-line play. Ronnie can make people miss or run over them if need be. I am excited about the pick!
