As many of you probably have already heard or seen, Darcy was in the media again today. And when asked about trades, he again went back to how you need to make a trade that is good in the long run, not just a short term boost.
Well that got me to thinking.....
Since Darcy hasn't swung a trade in two years, I guess what we have now can be construed as being a product of Darcy's "long range" plans. All the players he has brought here are contributing in the long term mode, since they've all been here forever.
So, it's very easy to say, that Darcy's long range plans suck, and he doesn't know what he's doing, because he obviously has miserably failed at putting even a mediocre team given the time.
Is that we we are all waiting for? Darcy's next long term move?

Darcy's next long term move should include Darcy moving a long distance away.

Wait a minute...he made a trade last year. Remember Bob Corkum??
