I like Everitt ... I didn't see much of Euhus, but Campbell is a really good backup, but not the sort of TE you want to work with a young QB (especially when our 3rd WR is not that good - Josh Reed, rookie WR's don't often come in and do that much). Everitt looked pretty good to me last year.

What I don't like is that it is the end of our first day at the draft and we didn't grab an OL.

I think we might have enough offensive weapons to sorround Losman now. I'm curious about Everett. A TE that follows the footsteps of Winslow and Shockey.

he is recovering from a knee injury.. fits TDs MO and he can just jump right in with the other TEs with knee injuries we already have.

This is something I know.


He's a pretty big guy. He isn't half bad, but he's no Winslow or Shockey. He's just a guy to add to your already mediocre TE. He doesn't have much potential. He is pretty tall, and from what I remember from the FSU game, he wasn't a horrible blocker. He did have some nice clutch catches during that game. Just don't expect him to be in the Top 20 TE's of the league.

i like this pick, everett challenged winslow to a foot race last year and beat him, hes obviously not slow, he has big soft hands, and hes a solid tackler. he has great potential but he has limited experience. i think the reason we didnt take and o-lineman is because in 25 years of coaching o-lines mcnally has only drafted 7 o-lineman in the first 3 rounds of the draft, i think this is the reason that we didnt draft a o-lineman. i heard on the nfl network that mcnallys imput would be a major factor in the drafting of the o-line. i think that mcnally can take a 2nd day o-lineman and make him into a good pro. i think that the plan is to take couple o-linemen on the 2nd day.
