    Clarett and Williams

The NFL isn't really making a great case for keeping younger players out of the draft when 2 guys can be first day picks after not playing football 1 and 2 years.

You must have missed why they couldn't be drafted last year.

What in hell are you talking about? They missed because their legal challenge against the NFL was rejected in court. What does that have to do with the NFL making a good (logical) case for keeping the rule in existence?

The NFL has just demonstrated today that its members feel 3 years of football playing time after high school graduation is not a requirement for gaining the skills necessary to perform at the required level. as a result, they're saying their own rule is stupid.

If you need help following that logic you must be up past your bedtime.

They weren't allowed to be drafted lasted year so they sat out a year. If a player wants to sit out a year and risk where he will be drafted then I say go for it.

The NFL Player's union doesn't want them in the NFL either.

Of course not ... the NFLPA isn't around to protect potential players, it's there to protect existing players. Expanding the market of available players does nothing to help existing players.
