Wow! Interesting stuff from a longtime basketball coach/scout.

Quite a commentary on our society- major cable network coverage of a high school basketball game; gushing about the hall-of-fame potential of a mere child; and his reaction to it by the showboating.

Did anyone watch the game?

I didn't watch, but it got a 1.8 overnight rating, which is on par with the highest rated NBA games ESPN has shown.

And showing high school games is a lot cheaper. I think we'll see more.

I hope not. Sadly, I think you're right. I hate the little league WS, and boycott it- now they'll probably show HS hoops instead of paying for the NHL.
