All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Back in the summer, Northern Illinois University head coach Joe Novak challenged senior tight end Brad Cieslak to be one of the best, if not the best, Mid-American Conference players at his position this season.
So far, the rugged Dikta-like 6-foot-5, 257-pounder has lived up to the “challenge.” Not only does No. 89 rank third in Huskie team receiving with 20 catches for 285 yards and two touchdowns, now Cieslak has gained some national attention.
Cieslak (Long Grove / Lincolnshire Stevenson) was selected the John Mackey National Tight End of the Week by the Nassau (NY) County Sports Commission on Wednesday (October 27) for his “career day” against Western Michigan University. The Huskies moved to 5-0 in the MAC West and 6-2 overall with a 59-38 trumph over WMU in Kalamazoo.
Peters is a tackle now. Neufeld and Trafford are the other TEs.
Plus Joe Donnelly (ex-Syracuse player) and Mike Gomez (NFLE).
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
Yeah, I think we have 8 TEs now, not counting Peters.

That's right...we currently have 8. My friend and I are suspecting that he's going to replace every position with a TE. No more RBs, WRs, etc. An 8 TE team will be able to do it all. :)
I suspect that Mularkey is looking for the best TEs he can get, but I think he's going a little overboard!!!
maybe he thinks that the more tight ends we have the more wins we have.
I look at it differently. A tight end we have a bunch roles players. Euhus is the passcatcher, Campbell is the block/short possesion receiver. By the both have blown out their knees "2 for Euhus". That leaves Nuefeld who i can't stand, and Trafford, Gomez, who probally won't make the team. We now have a tightend in Everett who can block, and has real up side as a reciever. I heard on sirus that Everrit beat Kellen Winslow in a footrace. That impresses me. Maybe we can bring in freeagents at tightend, that can make the position younger, and provide more upside.

Maybe he's been talking to my old track coach. He would recruit a crap load of 400m runners and move some of them up to the 800m or down to the 200m. As a result, he won 20 SUNY outdoor championships in a row!
So far he's got one he's trying to work in at LT and another at H-back. Maybe he's hoping for linebacker depth. :snicker2:
