I just heard that may be the case. Maybe this isn't such a bad move afterall..............

The problem with bankruptcy is the courts act in the best interest of the debtors. If the Sabres files for bankruptcy and someone comes in with a higher bid that wants to move the team (i.e. Paul Allen) then that is what the courts will most likely will go with. You may lose Regier but Buffalo may also lose the Sabres in the process.
