D&C Aricle makes a good point.

TD just couldn't get a good value for Henry. I find this unbelievable, but true:

When Denver prefers troubled Maurice Clarett to Henry, you know a trade just isn't in the cards.
If TD is telling the truth that he woud have accepted a 3rd round pick for Henry, this shows just how much other teams think of Henry.

Yeah, basically Denver took Maurice Clarett over Travis Henry.

Shanahan thinks he's God's gift to troubled athletes. First Dale Carter. Then Daryl Gardner. Now Clarett.

Let's see if Clarett does any better than the first 2 did.

I'd rather have a pissed off Henry backing up as an insurance policy than have a 4th rounder for him.

But the other 2 aren't running backs. Eb could probably gain 1000 yards in the Denver system.

they know where henry is right now....which is he hasn't been doing squat. Last season he was a dud and he's injured a lot. Until he's seen hitting holes to get those tough yards he used to get he's not worth it. He either physically can't do it any more or his mind has gone further south than it was when we got him. I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't traded to some sucker he's placed on the practice squad.

If having a couple good seasons was the only criteria I'm sure OJ would be playing on a team right now.

of course, Maurice Clarett's been a real active football player lately.

what the last four years of a Republican House, Senate and Presidency has gotten us ...
              • tax cuts for the wealthy in the hundreds of billions
              • 1,000 dead American servicemen
              • the U.S. Constitution trampled upon
              • our national debt growing into the TRILLIONS of dollars
              • implicit lies and consistent obfuscations of the truth regarding Iraq

I can hardly wait to see what four more years will get us.
